Okay, fine, I may have considered it for a second there, but this island has been good to us so far and I have no interest in being hostile towards someone, or something, that's been nothing but kind to us. However, there is something I'd like to know..." Uriel's eyes lit up brightly in blue, not in anger, but in excitement at the thought of learning about a lost civilization. "Do you remember the people that used to live in this island, I mean the first inhabitants. Can you tell me about them?"

"I do remember them, of course. They were tall people, ingenious beyond imagination and they were powerful too. They already lived in this place before I became sentient, in fact, my first memory is of the ritual."

"The ritual?" Uriel asked, already suspecting what kind of ritual the cryptid was speaking about.
