Capítulo 143: Long time no see

Layla redirected her run to Ella's bleeding body instead of Luck. She was closer to her and leaving her would be paramount to letting her die.

If she wasn't already dead.

She ran and stood in front of her body.

The judge had not stopped at knocking her down, the fist was still charging towards her body, ready to crush them both.

Layla picked up the katana that was lying on the floor beside her and lifted it up to her chest.

Luck might be dead.

Ella was out of it.

Diane and Cosmo seems to have noticed her predicament and were about to leave their positions but the Judge's head spun to face them.

The fist charging at her froze.

But Layla did not use the opportunity to run. Where would she run to? Luck was still down here beneath the fists, and moreover that thing would never let them leave.

At least not while alive.

Two rows of razor sharp teeth were revealed, it was almost as if the beast was smiling.
