Ella jogged behind Luck watching his figure in disbelief. Although they obviously couldn't use their enigmas in this fight, psyia still had its importance.

Even without consciously using it, pysia had a way of strengthening the body. When she first met Luck she had briefly entertained the thought that he was completely devoid of psyia.

In fact she was sure most people who met him would have assumed the same thing. But that line of reasoning instantly crumbled when she remembered one crucial thing.

Psyia was vital to life—it was not possible for him to remain alive if he had no psyia, so she decided to go with another line of thought. Maybe he was just naturally talented at hiding it, that was the only way it made sense.

But even with such prodigious talent it would not be easy for him to do if he didn't have low psyia levels to begin with.

That was the conclusion she had arrived at.
