The ocean was calm, undisturbed by the usual hustle of weather or marine life. The horizon stretched out endlessly, with no signs of land for miles. High above, the dark square anomaly descended.
As it neared the water, the anomaly slowed, hovering just above the surface for a moment. Its shape was unnatural, its edges sharp and cold, unlike anything Earth had ever seen. There was no sound, no energy, no sense of its existence—just an unsettling quiet. Then, without a ripple, it sank into the ocean's depths, disappearing as if it had never been there.

On a distant planet, far removed from Earth's troubles, Lord Beerus lounged comfortably in the shade of a large tree, a pizza box resting in his lap. He carefully lifted a slice, savoring the rich smell of melted cheese and spices. His eyes gleamed with satisfaction as he took a bite, chewing slowly to enjoy every flavor. The God of Destruction, despite his immense power, had a simple weakness: food.
"This Earth cuisine… It's truly remarkable," Beerus murmured, reaching for another slice.
A short distance away, Whis stood calmly, observing Broly. The Saiyan was deep in training, his energy surging around him in controlled bursts. Broly's usual wild power was being carefully managed under Whis's tutelage, but every now and then, a surge of energy would flare up—his primal instincts always threatening to break free.
"Now, Broly," Whis said in his calm, melodic voice, "focus on keeping your power steady. You don't want it to overwhelm you."
Broly, his muscles tense and face strained with concentration, nodded. "I'm trying, but it's so… hard to control."
Whis smiled kindly. "That's understandable. With strength like yours, it takes time to master it fully. But I must say, you're progressing well. Keep a calm mind, and don't let your emotions dictate your energy."
Beerus watched with one eye open as Broly struggled. "Hmph, that brute has power, but without control, he's just a ticking time bomb."
Whis, glancing over at Beerus, chuckled softly. "Perhaps, my lord, but with patience, he could become one of the strongest fighters in the universe."
Beerus sighed, leaning back and taking another bite of pizza. "As long as he doesn't wreck my planet in the process."
As he were eating the pizza, cheelai and lemo brought some refreshments to them. Beerus quickly stood up and slowly walked towards cheelai.
Cheelai and Lemo, balancing trays of refreshments, froze as they watched Lord Beerus approach them with an unusual air of casualness.
"I'll help you with that," Beerus said, his tone smooth, though his eyes never left the food on the tray Cheelai was holding.
Whis stifled a laugh, understanding Beerus's true motivation, while Broly paused his training to observe the scene, curious but slightly confused.
Cheelai, still unsure how to react, handed over one of the trays. "Uh... sure. Thanks, Lord Beerus?" She glanced at Lemo, who gave her an amused shrug.
Beerus, now holding the tray, glanced at the contents, a mixture of exotic Earth drinks and some sweets. He took one of the beverages and sipped it, his expression growing thoughtful as the flavors hit his taste buds.
"Not bad... but not as good as pizza," Beerus commented, taking another sip before handing the tray back to Cheelai.
Whis floated closer, his staff glowing lightly as he examined Broly's energy. "You seem to be handling your power well, Broly. Keep this up, and you'll have even greater control soon."
Broly nodded, his gaze flickering between Whis and the others. "I'm trying to get stronger, but…" He hesitated, his thoughts were still on the battle with gogeta, he was afraid of his power, what would happen if he lose control once more.
Whis floated closer, sensing the conflict within Broly. "It's natural to fear your power, Broly. But fear won't help you control it. The more you resist, the more it will overwhelm you."
Broly exhaled heavily. "I don't want to hurt anyone again… especially my friends."
Cheelai, noticing the shift in Broly's demeanor, stepped closer, her expression softening. "You won't hurt us, Broly. We're all here to help you."
Lemo nodded in agreement. "Yeah, big guy, we're in this together. You're getting stronger, and that's what matters."
Beerus, now lounging again with his pizza, raised an eyebrow at the conversation but said nothing. Though outwardly indifferent, he listened carefully, his interest piqued by Broly's growth.
Whis, smiling warmly, offered more advice. "Remember, strength isn't just about power. It's about balance. If you can find that balance, there's no limit to what you can achieve."
Broly stood silent for a moment, absorbing their words. His power stirred within him, still wild and vast, but now, with the support of those around him, it felt more manageable. He nodded again, determination filling his gaze. "I'll keep trying."
As Broly returned to his training, the peaceful moment on Beerus's planet continued, but far away on Earth, the anomaly deep beneath the ocean was growing more active.
