Capítulo 16: I wish I could Turn Back time
After a Long battle the time patrol was caught recovering and trying to recoup their losses in this fight. A lot of people died and some are terribly wounded.
"Honey…" Syoko crouched down next to Nico and placed her hand on his face. "You gotta stop risking everything whenever you fight" She smiled with mirth, her eyes holding nothing but care and love.
"You're one to talk…you're still transformed" Nico chuckled and coughed a bit. "Just look at you, You're really strong you know that?" Nico smiled before he passed out. Syoko blushed and a red aura covered her body before shattering away detransforming.
"Ew the lovebirds are at it again" Xeno looked on from a few feet away, he smiled happy that his friends never change. Not that he would admit it outloud.
"What's got you smiling?" Chronoa asked, seemingly appearing out of nowhere causing Xeno to jump back in surprise.
"You really gotta stop doing that!" Xeno let out a sigh to calm down before looking at Chronoa seriously. "I'm sorry Supreme Kai of Time, we lost so much in this fight" Xeno clenched his fist. "As an apprentice Kai I failed" Xeno looked away, breaking contact so he didn't cry.
"Xeno you did what was necessary, and you did more than I ever could" Chronoa walked over and hugged Xeno. "For that I will always be grateful" Xeno's expression softened and he turned to look down at Chronoa.
"I would do anything to protect my home" Xeno looked up to the sky and thought back through all their adventures. "Nico was always there and ready to risk his life to fight" Xeno looked over to Nico. "I think his stupid rubbed off on me" Xeno chuckled.
"Hey.." A voice cut in and Xeno and Chronoa turned to its point of origin. "How do i log out?" Startled, they both fell to the ground in shock alerting everyone else wondering what was going on.
"RISA?!" Xeno and Chrona blurted out as if seeing a Ghost, they couldn't believe what they were seeing. The person of their interest was standing right there! But how? She was a casualty.
[Hospital]
Kaito was having a bad day to say the least, he now had to tell his parents he failed in saving Hana. He walked slowly through the empty halls of the hospital late at night. A direct parallel to how he was feeling at this moment. He stopped outside his sister's room when he heard muffled talking. He put his ear up to listen.
"Hana honey what are you talking about? Ki signature?" Yukko was confused as to what her daughter meant. Kaito's eyes widened, was his sister okay?
"Your Ki signature I don't recognize it or here for that matter" Hana looked around again when she felt someone was outside the door. Calling out to the person Hana was ready to fight even though she felt very weak. "Who's out there?" Hana tensed her muscles ready to pounce if necessary. But she was shocked when Kai walked through the door. No wait its kai but different?
