Jungkook POV
I watched Jimin hyung push her away gingerly and walk towards Jinhee and her friends.
I quickly limped over to a pillar near them while clutching my back, it still hurt.
I hid behind the pillar without them noticing and listened to what they were saying.
"Jimin gwenchana? You look unwell." Jinhee asked.
My blood boiled when I saw her place the back of her hand on Jimin hyung's forehead.
"Aniya I'm fine Jinhee don't worry." Jimin hyung replied and smiled at her.
Usually, his eye smile would make any girl swoon, but not with Jinhee. She just smiled back and continued chatting with them.
I stared at her flawless face and wondered how she would look like without her glasses on.
My gaze shifted from her beautiful black and purple eyes to her nose and finally to her lips.
My breath hitched just looking at her lips and thinking what it would taste like.
Shit.
I hurried to the nearest toilet and sat down on the toilet seat, trying to calm myself down.
I slowly relaxed and started to breathe normally once more, I had to keep my bad boy image so that I can get closer to her.
I strolled out of the toilet calmly and sat down at my seat when I reached the classroom. I was bored, so I decided to call Jin hyung.
"Hello?"
"Hey hyung it's me."
"Oh Jungkook. Is there something wrong? You sound sad." Jin hyung questioned me.
"I'm...fine, just..."
"You're thinking about Jinhee again aren't you. How many times do I have to tell you, acting like a bad boy in front of her will not bring you closer to her. She'll hate you even more." he cut me off.
I sighed and nodded, although I knew he couldn't see me. He sighed and hung up.
I groaned and put my head on the table. I really like Jinhee...but I just don't know how to express it.
Jimin POV
I tried not to blush when Jinhee put her hand on my forehead. I've had a crush on her for the longest time and I am one of the few people that knows the real her.
I have been one of her best friends for 2 years and it was through those 2 years that I realised that I had feelings for her.
But Jungkookie has liked her since the first time he saw her, which was 3 years ago... I just can't get over the fact that I might lose her to Jungkookie.
Sigh.
I looked longingly at Jinhee while she was chatting with Taehee and Hyejin.
Nah.
I'm kidding myself if I think that I have a chance, but I will try my best.
Jinhee POV
I felt as if someone was watching me during lunch. It was creepy. I looked around but couldn't see anybody so I just shrugged it off.
After lunch, Jimin and I walked back to our classroom together as Taehee and Hyejin were in different classes.
Jimin is my best friend, I met him here on my first day of school and he was the one who showed me around the school.
We've been best friends ever since then. I get along quite well with his group except Jungkook.
He just seems to hate me for no reason. He's been like this since the first time we met and I honestly don't like him.
When I walked into the classroom, the first person I saw was Jeon Jungkook.
I saw Jimin tense up out of the corner of my eye.
Strange.
He's been like this around Jungkook since last year. I thought maybe Jimin held a grudge of some sort against Jungkook.
Well, even if he did I wouldn't be able to help him.
Ignoring Jungkook, who was most likely sleeping, I went to my table and started revising for the upcoming test that Miss Park had told us about.
Jungkook POV
When Jinhee walked in, I pretended to be sleeping as I was too embarrassed about what happened just then.
Ugh the teacher just came in, whatever I'm one of the top students here so I don't need to pay much attention, but sadly, Jinhee is smarter than me.
She's the number one top student in this school and she looks beautiful even with her glasses on.
Jimin POV
As I listened carefully to the teacher, I noticed Jinhee looking very troubled, so I nudged her and asked, "Are you okay? You look depressed."
She just sighed and replied, "Its fine I just don't get why Jae Oon and her cronies like to bully us so much. I mean, I've never done anything to them!"
"Its because they're jealous of you." I said. "Jealous? Why would they be jealous of me?" Jinhee pondered.
"Cause you're always hanging around a hot guy like me! Hehe..."
Jinhee laughed and lightly ruffled my hair. "True that!" she said.
OMG! She agreed with me when I said I was hot! She thinks I'm hot!!!
I'm gonna faint from happiness soon. I saw Jungkook glaring at us across the room and I started sweating.
I don't want Jungkook to get Jinhee, I love her.
Jinhee POV
I sighed and tried to concentrate on Ms Park's lecture on the history of Korea.
Ugh do we really have to study history? It's my least favourite subject.
I was still thinking about why Jae Oon and her cronies like to bully me when the bell rang, signalling the end of the school day.
I jumped up and stretched my arms in joy.
Finally, I get to move around, I just love this time of the day.
"Chim Chim let's go find Hyejin and Taehee and walk back together!" I said excitedly.
He nodded and we walked to the school gate to wait for my girl besties.
When we were waiting there, an unwelcomed person walked up to us and started screeching in her high nasally voice, "Jimin oppa do you want to go out with me tomorrow? We can do something together!"
The she-devil winked at Jimin and touched Jimin's arm. He immediately looked very uncomfortable and mouthed the words: Help Me at me.
I just laughed and that's when Jae Oon turned around and glared at me like I was something she had just scrapped off the bottom of her shoes.
She huffed and cried, "What's so funny? You want your face to be beaten up? I can get my girls to do that."
I just laughed harder and started clutching my stomach. Gosh! She actually thinks that she can get her minions to beat me up?!
Funniest thing I've heard all day!
Well, that was until she slapped me in the face.
By now, all heads were turned to us and for once, I didn't care.
My eyes burned and I rose to my full height, towering over the b*tch.
"You went too far this time miss. You'll regret that..." I growled and took a step towards her.
She shrank back immediately and started to back away with a terrified look on her face.
I smiled evilly and attacked.
Jungkook POV
She was mad. Really mad.
I saw the whole scene unfold and I felt like slapping Jae Oon that monster myself.
How dare she slap Jinhee!
As I was about to walk to them, I saw the expression on Jinhee's face and I stopped. She looked downright murderous.
Oops. I thought.
Jae Oon's in trouble this time.
Then, I heard an ear-piercing scream coming from Jae Oon and I almost laughed when I saw her.
Jinhee was furiously punching and kicking Jae Oon while Jae Oon just kept on screeching.
Her face was priceless.
She had a look of horror and disbelief on her face as she endured the pain she was receiving.
Jimin POV
OH MY GOD.
When I saw Jinhee beating up Jae Oon, I was so shocked yet pleased.
That girl has been trying to flirt with me for the past year and she was so annoying.
Jinhee was a master at all sorts of martial arts so I didn't need to worry about her losing.
But when I saw Jae Oon slapping Jinhee across the face, I almost exploded with rage.
HOW DARE SHE!
So I was pretty okay with letting Jinhee beat up Jae Oon, but when I saw that Jae Oon was starting to bleed, I quickly tried to calm Jinhee down.
Boy was that a difficult task.
She was so mad that I had to wrap my arms around her body, trapping her arms so that she couldn't punch anyone anymore.
She stiffened and struggled, but eventually gave up trying to escape my grasp.
Jinhee POV
I felt a pair of muscular arms keeping me from punching the crap out of that stupid clown.
I knew it was Jimin, but rage still coursed through me and I struggled furiously in his arms to try and escape.
