Blood was oozing from her abdomen, staining the carpet red.

Immediately, William rushed forward, used silver needles to seal Edna's acupoints, and then used the green light from the dragon-shaped jade pendant to retain her vitality.

"Why would you save me?

Are you worried about committing murder?" Edna's eyes glistened complexly.

She hadn't expected that William would even want to save her.

William shook his head: "Your life is still long, and over the course of our recent interactions, I've found you're not inherently a bad woman."

"In the future, live honorably, and avoid getting involved in matters like these."
