Capítulo 218: Slaughter

Gunshots rang out, with bullets flying in a torrent, yet Kaguya deflected them all with her Kusanagi sword amidst the crisp sound of clashing metal.

Kaguya rushed forward, her long sword flashing coldly. In an instant, half a body flew into the air, crimson blood splattering everywhere with a foul stench filling the air.

In Kaguya's presence, these ordinary people were as defenseless as sheep. Even with guns, they were still just ordinary people. While firearms are deadly to the average person, they are not very effective against someone with great skill.

"Hurry, stop her!"

The terrified one-eyed boss ran toward the room's exit, shouting frantically, his teeth chattering with fear.

With a thud, a spherical object landed in front of him, furry and dripping with bright red blood—the severed head of the man in the white suit.

His eyes were wide open, blood trickling from his mouth, and his neck was a mangled mess. Even in death, his face was etched with terror.

"Aaaah!" the one-eyed boss screamed, his legs trembling as he crawled away. He didn't care about wealth, power, or beauty; he just wanted to escape with his life.

A flash of cold light, and the boss fell to the ground. He looked down and saw his leg was gone, blood gushing from the wound.

"Aaaaah!" The one-eyed boss clutched his severed leg, howling in agony, the pain only hitting him now as the initial shock wore off.

"Why don't you run now?"

A shadow appeared in front of the boss, and he looked up to see all his bodyguards and thugs lying dead on the floor, their bodies torn apart, a gruesome sight.

The silver-haired girl who had slaughtered them all stood before him, her eyes like pools of icy water.

As she stared at him, the one-eyed boss felt a chill run down his spine, spreading through his entire body, leaving him cold and weak.

"Spare me," the boss pleaded, his blood-soaked hands raised in supplication. "Don't kill me."

Kaguya crouched down, smiling faintly. "Does it hurt?"

"It hurts, it hurts," the boss nodded frantically, his face ashen.

Kaguya swung her arm, the blade of her sword tracing an arc. The boss's hands followed his legs, severed and flying into the air, blood splattering the ground.

"Aaaaah!" the one-eyed boss's eyes bulged as he screamed in agony, his body drenched in blood, the ground beneath him stained crimson.

"Such ugliness," Kaguya chuckled lightly, her eyes devoid of humor, cold as ice. "Did you ever think of the innocent girls you harmed?"

The boss could only wail and writhe like a worm in his death throes.

Kaguya frowned at the repulsive sight, then stood up and swung her sword, silencing the boss's screams as his head rolled away, his twisted face showing a hint of relief in death.

Kaguya exhaled, flicking the blood from her sword before it gleamed clean once more.

These people were beyond redemption, and killing them felt like too light a punishment. They deserved to be executed slowly, but Kaguya couldn't be bothered. A quick death was enough.

Turning away, Kaguya headed to the adjoining room, where the incense burner continued to emit purple smoke. The girls, lost in their drug-induced haze, were oblivious to what had transpired, their eyes vacant as they remained ensnared in their own world.

Kaguya kicked the incense burner with her elegant leg, sending it flying like a missile. It exploded mid-air, the sparks flashing like fireworks before disintegrating in the autumn breeze.

No matter where or when, drugs are a source of evil that must be destroyed. They rob people of their reason, leading to ruin and devastation. Kaguya despised such things deeply.

The girls, however, posed a dilemma for Kaguya. She couldn't simply take them with her, and even if she could, they wouldn't get past the city gates, nor was there anywhere to take them.

Suddenly, Kaguya's ears twitched, and she glanced into the distance, sensing something. A smile curled her lips.

Just when she needed help, it arrived. Her problem might soon be solved.

Kaguya moved gracefully among the girls, lying down, rubbing her eyes, making them look moist and dazed. Her languid pose made her even more enchanting, as if she were truly under the influence.

Soon, two soft footsteps came from the ceiling, followed by two thuds as they landed in the room.

Kaguya peeked through her half-closed eyes, taking in the intruders.

One was a blonde girl, with a beautiful and spirited appearance—Leone, whom Kaguya had encountered recently.

The other was a boy with green hair, slightly shorter than the girl, with a delicate face. He wore a white T-shirt under a green jacket and had goggles on his head. Kaguya recognized him as Lubbock.

They entered the room with serious expressions, fists clenched, eyes alert as they scanned their surroundings, a far cry from their usual relaxed demeanor.

"Looks like whoever was here left," Lubbock crouched, touching the bloodstains on the floor.

"Someone beat us to it," Leone mused, stroking her chin. "I wonder which faction did this."

"Either way, they did us a favor," Lubbock sighed in relief, smiling. "I thought we'd have a big fight."

"These people were evil, but I regret not dealing with them myself," Leone said, clenching her fists in frustration.

"What about these women?" Lubbock asked, hands behind his back. "We don't have room for them at our base."

"Don't worry, there's an old man in my village who's a great doctor. He loves helping young girls. I'm sure he can assist," Leone laughed confidently, arms crossed.

Leone glanced over and spotted something, quickly moving toward the group of girls.

"Huh, what's this?" she exclaimed.
