Sorry for the delay.
I believe I'm currently unconsciously trying to delay the inevitable by writing everything else but what I planed XD but just bear with me for a little longer.

Pointed out Rarity as she noticed a flaming tail of a falling star which in this world was literally a falling star as many of the stars in the sky were not actually faraway stars but nearby agglomerations of magically saturated meteors...Really...a magical cosmos does have its quirks, especially since some of those "stars" are actually sentient in a way...
"Yeah, I can see it! Twily! Twenty degrees south!" Said Starfall prompting Twilight to turn the telescope in the direction of the burning rock which was falling much slower than a regular meteor.
"I can see it! This one seems to be slowly falling from orbit! Maybe we can look for it later!" Twilight exclaimed excitedly as she pinpointed the meteor with her telescope.
"Hey can I see it?!" Asked Rainbow dash walking over to Twilight.
"Yeah Twilight! I'd also like ta see it!" Added Applejack.
"Oh, sure! Here let me help you." Twilight said making place for the other two mares.
"oh! That's cool! It looks a bit similar to my sonic Rainboom trail! although different colour!" Rainbow said Looking into the magically enhanced telescope.
"Yep! She's right. Does it mean something Twilight?" Asked Applejack after looking through the lens.
"Ah! That's because it's a very similar process in a way! But while Rainbow's magic during a Rainboom consists mostly of a compressed Equestrian magic mixed with the Pony magic and for some reason, magic of Friendship according to Starfall. The meteor tail gets its appearance from the accumulation of burned matter during re-entry combined with the compressed space magic and whatever different magic the meteor encountered on its way..." Twilight continued to speak about the physics of magic meteors for another while quickly loosing the two mares along the way and Starfall couldn't help but find this situation amusing.
"Umm...could I..."Fluttershy tried to say something but Twilight too focused on her explanation didn't notice.
"Don't bother Shy. She's already lost to us haha! Come here. I'll help you pinpoint the meteor." Said Starfall noticing that Fluttershy also wanted to look into the telescope.
The shy Pegasus smiled at Starfall and relaxed as she felt him wrap his hooves around her before helping her correct the telescope.
While all of this was taking place, Pinkie Pie, Rarity and Luna enjoyed their time just watching the Meteor Shower of all the smaller meteors that burned in the atmosphere.
Although Pinkie Pie continuously nagged Luna to teleport them to the moon so that they could see the meteors closer...
Luna was even tempted to do so since she did have the ability but she knew that the only reason she could even survive there was her being an alicorn with a moon affinity...So taking Pinkie Pie was still out of the question unless Starfall figures out some space travel magic...
Also she didn't want Pinkie to disturb her moon rock gardens...

"Alright. It was heading South, with the speed of 17 thousands meters per second and the ... If we substract ... " Twilight tried to Calculate where did the larger Meteorite impacted.
"Then it should have impacted in..." Starfall continued for her.
"Macintosh Hills!" They both said together causing Rainbow Dash to snicker.
"You two are really like two identical water droplets. I have no idea how I can bear you two eggheads" She said with an exasperated smile.
"Maybe, because you love us?" Starfall asked amused.
"Nah. I'm sure she's in it for the mind-blowing sex." Twilight said causing everyone to giggle while Fluttershy got a faraway look as if remembering something pleasant...

Fluttershy noticed that everyone were looking at her and became shy.

"So, do you guys want to look for the meteor with us? If no then it's ok. I know that you are all exhausted from the sleepless night" He asked and in the end only Rarity asked to join, apparently curious if the meteor contained any rare gemstones for her creations inside.
After cleaning up the picnic and seeing everyone off, the tree unicorns were ready to depart, so Starfall focused his magic and teleported to Appleloosa which was the closest to the Macintosh Hills.
Maybe he could get to see Little Strongheart while he's at it? He did miss her and letters could only give them so much...
