With every cell Noe identifies as possessing a strong relay of DNA sequences, his confidence grows. He is sure he can carry out the theory the doctors developed, if not, completely redesign the children's genetic make up and give them a higher chance of survival. 

"It's time to go," the man with a gun taps Daniel's shoulder as Daniel reads the final line of the children's story. Noe has no idea what it was about.

"I hope I managed to keep you entertained!" Daniel smiles as he slips his hand out from under Noe's. 

None of the children respond to Daniel, either having long lost focus, fallen asleep, or too numb from pain relieving medication to cultivate their voices.

"I need ten more minutes," Noe tells Riley.

Skeptical, Riley shakes her head as she closes the curtain enclosing the children.
