Fear, an instinctual response rooted in humanity's primal survival instinct, the feeling that arises when they perceive a threat or danger to their continued survival, triggering a "fight or flight" response.

Such an emotion should not be prevalent in the world of Equus, being a mostly peaceful planet a human of all things should not feel any kind of 'danger' or 'fear' coming from... Well, anywhere.

That is... What a fool might say, for an astute observer dangers can be found in impossible places in a world of Magic.

Foals capable of ripping steel with their undeveloped magic, pegasus capable of breaking the sound barrier, create tornados and even control the very skies.

Unicorns capable of crushing organs without even coming near their victims, their magic being capable of warping one's mind or even their body into any desired form.

And worse of all, a near God-like Mare capable of moving the very stars.

One bad day is all it takes for one's life to be taken, for a planet to be destroyed in a fit of childish rage.

So... What does a human do to survive in this planet?

Power, the answer for it all, simple, as long as he has it he will not have to fear, he will not need to be helpless in the face of those more powerful than him.
