Carl opened his mouth but emitted no cry, watching Tangde and Michelle chatting and eating not far away.
Carl knew that Beech must have appeared normal in their eyes.
"Why?"
"Why am I the only one still normal?"
Carl tried to calm himself down.
Before entering the cabin, everyone had checked the building: there were no Evil Spirits, nor any other messy Remnant Souls. It seemed just like an ordinary cabin in the woods.
But why then did these strange things happen afterwards?
"Right!"
"It must be the cabin!"
Carl suddenly realized something.
He recalled that upon entering the house, Tangde had assigned him to leave and keep watch ahead.
The moment Tangde gave the order, Carl felt a twinge of dissatisfaction.
Such an emotion was extremely abnormal in this battle-hardened team.
The team members had known each other for several years, and even Lawrence, who was the last to join, had been acquainted with everyone for a year now.
