Capítulo 30: Wrapped Around Her Finger

Thane had arranged for his team to stay at a nearby short let apartment, but Tara was strictly against the idea.

"I think we should stay here so we can get to work immediately, travelling here and there will only hinder the work process." She insisted, when she learnt that Brooke lived with Thane in his mansion.

"No." Thane firmly said, then turned to leave, not feeling the need to explain his decision.

Brooke felt relieved to hear that Tara wasn't staying, she knew it was wrong, but she couldn't deny how she felt.

"Thane, you are our top biotechnologist and the project director, we can't have you away from us." She persisted, holding her own.

Her teammates were confused, it wasn't the first time they had handled a project without Thane being physically present. They had carried out projects remotely, so why was Tara being so persuasive?
