"Sol, please come back here. It's not safe over there!"

"We can use this submarine. You guys should hurry…!"

The sharp teeth missed my legs by just a hair’s breadth. My eyes went wide. I did not dare to move. Water poured in through the roof where the teeth had been cutting through. The fish tried to waggle our submarine from side to side. Its force was so strong, those sharp teeth almost touched me.

In that second, I thought we would not survive—until those teeth disappeared and saltwater poured in. I was so shocked and confused at the same time that the fish did not crush our submarine to pieces.

Terror overtook me again after I saw that the water gushing inside had...
