Tai takes a few inside the office where she first saw Sydney with only a handful of people which were Olivia, Hina, Calista, Ricky, Len, Grady, Lillian and Ari was inside the room while Sydney walked in closing the door making Lillian frown at why someone they just met was with them.
" Olivia needs to talk to us and even though there are more I trust that's busy doing other things right now I chose this group to inform you all that we have three more floors below us that Sydney and I checked only the security room cameras to make sure the area was somewhat safe " Tai said pulling out a digital map she uploaded to the holographic screen showing a 3-D layout of the three floors, Sydney walked over pushing Tai in the chair then sits on her lap.
" we also have a problem with George who is stealing blueprints along with samples of the virus " Olivia said laying some vials on the table with some syringes, she had a worried look on her face.
" I'm sure he has some loaded syringes so be careful around him, I already notified Alex with the others who are watching him and at any time will have someone we care about infected. The question is who sent him or does he see a way to control a situation...." Olivia was saying when Hina cleared her throat while furrowing her brows.
" he wants someone and also hates someone so that could be a reason since he's had time to think this through" Hina said as Olivia frowns then looked over at Tai who raised one of her brows at them.
" is there something you two are telling me...I mean I can tell he has a crush on Olivia but has he came onto her while being down there " Tai said gripping her gun in its holster, Sydney grabbed her hand then gave her a soft smile leaning back making Tai wrap her arms around her.
" we need to kill him to protect our family" Sydney said in a soft voice void of any emotion while staring into Olivia's eyes who nods her head, Hina watched them understanding what they are planning.
" I'm not sure I want that " Tai said making them all snap their heads to her, she stared at the map then smiled that made the others shiver seeing that evil smile she was now sporting.
" ok...I want all of you to get to work getting things done, Hina you and the others over see getting everything packed. Olivia you will make sure we have all of the information they have inside this lab from this office, Len you will take six people along with Grady to pick the vehicles we'll need for our journey even if one person each will drive one back to the cabin. I'm taking George down to the lower floor with me while Sydney will go with Harold along with Alex and Kyle for the third group to go down.
" go ahead so we can go back to be with the rest of our people " Tai said as Ari stood there with Olivia and Hina wanting to talk to Tai.
" I don't want you alone with George " Lillian said walking closer to Tai who looked at the rest who nodded her head, she sighed then looked over at Hina.
" well can you and Ari make sure everything is going smoothly and I'll have Hina come along with me or Sydney's group to get him to Cell-02 that said it hasn't been used for the infected yet. I'll use one of the viruses to see how long it takes to turn him like he wants to do with me or us " Tai said as Hina crosses her arms thinking then stepped forward sitting on the desk in front of Tai and Sydney who got up from Tais lap.
" Fine I'll go with Brax since he's a good shot plus I trust him " Hina said looking at Sydney who was holding Olivia's hand making Hina confused by how close the two are but then noticed how much they look alike except for the hair that matches Sydney's eye color which she thinks is dyed along with colored contacts.
Tai pulled Hina off the desk where she landed on her lap, then looked at the others as Ari and Lillian got the hint grabbing details that Hina wrote down earlier to go by so they don't forget anything.
" Roo is to stay with Olivia for protection along with protecting the pups that will stay with her, Sydney will go with you to collect your things plus the pups from that office " Tai said not letting Hina get up from her lap so she stopped trying.
" Hina I trust Sydney plus she's Olivia's sister so give her a chance to prove to you that she won't harm us, she's already proven that to me " Tai said making Hina glare at her thinking about what that meant, she glared at Tai then her look softened when Tai pecked her lips playfully.
" I'm sorry just all of this is to much, what is Ari's father not telling us " Hina said laying her head back on Tais shoulder while sighing playing with Tais hand.
" I see your alot more patient when I leave you hanging or did someone else take care of it " Hina said making Tai laugh at how jealous she is but still decides to be with her.
" of course Not, everyone followed your orders captain " Tai said making Hina laugh while grinding her hips getting the reaction she wanted when a buzzard goes off at the door showing George on the screen along with Harold making Hina frown while stopping what she was doing.
" George, Harold I'm glad you came....I just found that there is three more floors below us " Tai said when Brax showed up with Sydney having a few of the new weapons in her arm handing them out except to George who frowned.
" we leave these up to the more professional ones who know how to use them while I have you exploring plus collecting what they were doing down there since it's to dangerous for Olivia " Tai said making George nod his head, she stands up taking them down the hallway passing by Olivia who was waiting with Kyle that was helping her carry things.
" Tai wait " Olivia said pulling Tai into a hug with a soft kiss making her smile but then felt her stomach making her surprised but Sydney pushes by Tai hugging Olivia goodbye as Hina nodded for Olivia to go inside the office.
" Kyle stay with her no matter what " Hina said following Tai to the other office where the elevator shaft is located making them all frown until the beam with the carving of the bear opens up.
" Brax will go down first then Hina along with Harold then Sydney...George you'll be next then I'll be last " Tai said watching each person go down waiting in the glass box until Tai arrived with the elevator locking behind them while she used the key to open the clear doors as they all file out.
" ok let's separate all the rooms after checking the CCTV in the security office " Tai said as Hina leads beside Brax with Sydney showing them the way while George was beyond excited playing with the syringe inside his pocket.
( " this would be the perfect spot to try this virus marked x on Tai and what she'll become would be something extraordinary ") George thought to himself while they enter a large room covered with screens of each room where they spotted a large cage that had a hole where something ripped through the metal.
" Shit that wasn't like that before " Tai said seeing the lights on inside that room as well as one of the computer screens, she gripped her gun then looked at Sydney who noticed it as well.
" change of plans we'll stick together going inside Cell-01 which has cells along with labs " Tai said looking over to Hina who was looking at all the screens then sits down controlling some of them looking around the room seeing part of a cot that is hidden behind some crates.
" someone has been staying down here so be careful, I'll stay here to watch for any movement so be on your toes" Hina said looking back at Tai and was about to suggest George to stay and Tai shut her down before she can speak.
" ok George stay by my side just in case something happens" Tai said exiting the room with Harold and Brax following close behind the two watching George's every move.
" Tai...your the only one who can hear me I think we need to wait on the George thing for now, baby so many things can go wrong plus these unknown variables " Hina said watching for any movement on each screen when something down the corridor going to the right, she looked at Brax with a bad feeling while keeping her eyes on George for any odd movements.
" Hina the right corridor at the end, if it's now clear then fine but see if you can go back to thirty seconds earlier " Tai said checking the glowing clip in the new gun before they look down both hallways, she sighed not wanting any of her crew to be hurt since she put them down here.
" it's a woman maybe middle twenties or around that number, she's wearing a lab coat while going into Lab-2 on the right ...she seems scared so go slow and easy " Hina said filtering through the screens to find movement back in the room with the broken cage finding a teenage boy standing there looking straight at the camera making Hina flinch when he smiled at her.
" I think I found a test subject that was caged, he looks like a normal person and has no deformities or seem dead like the others but he is creeping me out since he knows I'm watching him " Hina said over the radio while Tai signals the others to wait while slightly knocking on the door without making it slide open.
" hey I'm not here to hurt you, I'm not with this company...we came for supplies also to check down here for anything we need, what's your name...mine is Tai " Tai said strapping her gun to her back then stepping in front of the door letting it slide open showing an attractive woman who was a few years older than Tai but looks to be twenty three at most.
" I'm not scared honey, it's you who should be scared breaking inside a government facility and you say your not with them but how'd you find these floors " she said holding a handgun pointed at Tai who looked the woman over making the woman blush at how Tai was looking at her.
" we have hackers that found this place along with a woman we rescued upstairs " Tai said to gauge the woman's reaction who gave her what she wanted.
" did you free that woman " She said stepping closer to Tai where she was at arms length when Tai disarmed her holding the womans back against her front wrapping her arms around her.
" stop moving I'm not going to hurt you " Tai said moving her bottom half away from the woman who keeps rubbing accidentally.
" damn you Hina " Tai said when she has been worked up all day and the woman felt something poking her, she stopped moving then pushed herself hard against Tai who awkwardly stood there.
" well this is surprising..." the woman said relaxing in Tais arms, she was wore out staying down there with little food and only was drinking bottled water which Tai could feel how weak she is.
" here sit down and these men follow my orders except the nerd don't let him close to you " Tai said telling the men to come in over the radio, when George walked in Tai noticed the woman's eyes wide with shock that she quickly hid but George seemed to not know who she was.
" My name is Rory " Rory said stepping away from George when he raised his hand for her to shake, Tai nodded for him to back away.
" Let's get back to Hina, I think we need to go back up to be filled in on what we're dealing with..also Rory the young man who was inside the cage in that room, who is he or what is he since he busted through that cell " Tai said making the woman visibly shake, she grabbed Tais hand making them move down the hall even faster to the elevator.
" Hina were nearby come on out after you set the program in the computer" Tai said as Hina came out then was on her tablet locking down all the doors plus vents on the three floors.
" there's two furnace rooms one above us to the far corner then the second is on Dan-03 floor right below the one above us...it seems the alarm started going off in that room ten minutes ago " Hina said as she now has full control over the whole building along with all the cameras.
" Shit make sure that white room is locked down along with the vents for now " Tai said making them all rush to the glass doors in front of the elevator and she opens it locking the doors behind them with the key.
Rory kept staring at Sydney who did the same to her with a friendly look so Tai relaxed some letting Hina and Sydney ride up together then Harold and Rory while she waited with George and Drax.
" Drax go first " Tai said watching George making notes on his tablet not paying attention to what's going on around him when Tai knocked him out cold and checks his pocket finding three syringes full of different colored liquid while getting everything from him stuffing them inside a bag using the man's belt to tie his hands and throws him inside the elevator letting him go up.
Hina pulled George out then patted his body down pulling out cuffs for his hands and legs where he didn't have room to stretch out because of the chains, Tai came up seeing Rory talking to Sydney away from the others.
" no one is to go near him " Tai said dragging the man outside the room by his leg cuffs dragging him to a empty closet she had Alex clean out while down stairs.
Tai pulled only Rory and Sydney to another room where she locked the door leaning against it.
" ok so a happy reunion between you two " Tai said with a bite in her voice making Rory's eyes sparkle noticing some jealousy coming from her.
" hmm I guessed the other woman was seeing you and you just met Sydney also myself so what are or who are you jealous about " Rory said with a smirk as Tai stepped closer to the woman letting her lips brush against Rory's ear then smiles when she felt her shiver.
" all of the women here are mine including you if I want you to be " Tai said making Sydney laugh at how worked up Rory is since usually she has others wrapped around her pinky.
" Tai...Rory would be a great mate as well " Sydney said smiling making Rory's mouth drop open when Sydney kisses Tai passionately while running her hand through Tais hair.
" well that's up to her...now tell me what the hell is going on here and who the boy is Hina said was in the cell " Tai said looking back at Rory who gave a sad expression when asked about the boy, she looked at Sydney then nodded her head.
" he's her brother who was dying from cancer and he asked for her to try to save him so he is one of the top six the virus made stronger but his psych is very damaged leaving Rory the only one he didn't try to kill " Sydney said making Tai lean against the wall sighing looking at a message sent to the screen on her watch.
" I'm sending some of our people back taking supplies along with some vehicles to the cabin to come back in one vehicle to get more items along with vehicles " Tai said making Sydney nod in agreement thinking about getting Olivia out of this place.
" yes and send Olivia to stay where the rest of the people are " Sydney said when Rory recognized the name grabbing Sydney's face.
" your sister...she's here " Rory said smiling at hearing the news and then was trying to leave to go see Olivia but only stopped by Tai.
" when he attacks us how do we stop him...do we kill him or put him in another cage, I need to know what or how to handle this " Tai said slamming her hand down against the desk making Rory glare at her walking closer to Tai when Sydney snuck out of the door locking them both inside.
" you two talk or whatever while I get the first convoy ready to go " Sydney said skipping out of the room while Rory keeps trying to open the door, she looked back at Tai who kept staring at her.
" what do you keep looking at" Rory raises her voice walking closer to Tai who picked her up sitting her on top of the desk.
" Ohh " Rory said blushing not use to someone who speaks or acts this way with her, usually she scares all men and women away with her attitude. Tai shoved her legs open standing between them and leans down gently kissing Rory who immediately wraps her arms around Tais neck deepening their kiss.
" do you hear that " Rory said looking up at the vent when Tai shoved her back off the desk where she landed in the chair when body parts poured out of the vent still attached to other parts inside the vent when Tai pulled the blade that slices through them as they caught fire dropping down as Rory moves behind Tai as the ceiling started to make a creaking sound.
" it's not going to hold " Tai said right when bolts was heard popping above them so she used the sword to cut the door handle that burned through it like a hot knife touching butter.
Sydney felt something off and she hit the wall putting a dent in the metal while her breathing became faster, she can feel what Roo the creature felt after grabbing her.
" go tell the others...tell Sydney it's the thing from the furnace room " Tai said pushing Rory out of the room cutting at the arms that keep reaching out toward her from the mass of bodies.
The door opened to the office with Olivia and Sydney walking in as Roo kept pacing back and forth while watching the door, Sydney caught Roo when she tried to run out of the room flailing her tail around. Roo rushes over to the pups then climbs inside the drawer with them. Sydney kept trying to feel where the infected presence is but was having a hard time as she concentrated. Roo kept making a noise that sounded like she was crying while pooping her head out from the drawer.
" Olivia radio others to meet in this room now, if it's what I think it is then we're in trouble " Sydney said grabbing the new weapon off the table making Roo stay with Olivia as she runs back to where she left Tai and Rory only to see Rory running toward her.
" it's a large infused...I think it's at a Level eight, how would one be inside this place " Rory said looking up at the vents as Sydney throws her a belt that had weapons in it along with a hand weapon she needs to imprint to her along with grenades.
" the closet don't have a vent so he should be fine along with the garage tell the others to continue getting things ready while the others need to be in the office with Olivia where this thing can't get to " Sydney said as Rory nodded then runs to the office putting the ear piece in telling Olivia and the others what needs to happen.
" where's Tai " Olivia said not realizing who was in front of her then she looked like a lost kid, rushing forward hugging Rory while Hina walks in with everyone from their group except for the ones with Len getting the vehicles ready to depart with all the things they need to take from the garage already loaded up along with boxes full from the facility.
Len started one of the vehicles while nine others start behind her, Grady smiled while giving them the thumbs up when he opened the large doors letting them pass through it before closing them back while getting the other ones ready listening to the comms worried about the others.
Grady turned Lens down letting someone with her to know to keep it like that until their down the road so Len won't rush to Tai to help.
Ricky walked over to Grady with the same concerned look climbing in the lift to load crates in to the next trucks to go out along with the dirt bikes strapped to one of the big transport trucks that's loaded with alot of Crates.
" Ricky what do you think got in or was already inside " Grady said getting keys to put inside each of the next row of the vehicles that's loaded down, when Ricky looked at a tank that was one of the new prototypes that he was going to take himself while the rest was charged waiting for the others, he seen a second new riot tank that they are saving for Tai to drive.
" well it should be only an hour for them to take those back to the cabin plus bringing some more people to drive all of these out from here, how many crates are left" Grady said walking over looking around the shelves that are now empty seeing a motor that was in the middle of being built then smiled at Ricky.
" a few but I got the ones from inside except for the lower floors that they've not started on yet...yes we have room for that plus we already loaded the tools and parts " Ricky said smiling at Grady who helped with another lift loading the motor onto one of the flatbeds.
Ricky kept his gun close after Tai told him about George plus the unknown creatures from the floors below so he worked overtime getting the crates out and the vehicles ready to go along with Grady who had his shotgun always strapped to his shoulder while working.
