Capítulo 37: Blood Manipulation

"Oh no! Ray! Watch out," Alex voice echoed across the area. Behind Ray was a beast that had sneaked to his back, using the sandy ground as a cover. It leapt from the ground, its claws heading towards Ray's head.

Ray, feeling a sense of danger and listening to the words of Alex, quickly turned around, with his hand placed across his chest. The claw struck his hands, sending him hurtling backwards.

The beast charged forward, swinging its claws again. Ray, with his broken hands, could only avoid the beast swipe. "Whoa! How am I able to do this," he thought. "For no reason, I feel no pain!" He felt his body moving lightly, avoiding the beast's attack.

Alex jumped forward, landing before Ray and the beast. He swung his clenched fist, punching through the beasts weak body and swinging his leg. It struck the beasts head, killing it instantly. "Pheew! That was close."
