After a few minutes of walking, I finally exit the dungeon. Just as the crystal Riveria gave me warned, it has indeed turned into night. From what I've read in many stories about Danmachi, the immersion of the dungeon is so great that people actually lose track of time while adventuring.
I stretch my arms up to yawn and relieve some of the stiffness; after all, this is the first time I've moved so actively, and my body has likely suffered the consequences. However, the increase in status was really good. The only problem is that even though the crystal shows me how my stats will look, I still have to go to Loki every time for her to update them. But well, let's put that aside for now.
I would like to go to the guild to exchange all these crystals I collected, but even though it's a relatively decent amount, most of them are low-level crystals, so I think I should gather more for now.
I start walking back to the Loki family's mansion while looking around. Even at night, the city is quite lively. I think most of the people are adventurers returning from the dungeon just like me.
After a few minutes of walking, I finally arrive at Loki's mansion. I politely greet the guards at the gate and enter the mansion. I think I should first inform one of the executives that I'm back, and then I want to take a shower and change.
After searching for a while and asking a few people, I eventually arrive at Riveria's office. I politely knock on the door and wait for permission to enter. Soon, I hear a soft 'come in,' so I slowly open the door and see Riveria at her desk arranging some books and papers.
"Miss Riveria, I'm back," I say, and upon hearing my voice, I see her gaze turn towards me. I'm still surprised by how beautiful she is. Ahem... let's put that aside.
"Oh, Elizabeth. I see you returned on time. How was your first experience in the dungeon?" Riveria says, delicately resting her elbows on the desk, with both hands supporting her chin as she looks at me.
"Yes, the crystal you gave me was really helpful. Thank you very much. And my first experience was good in a way. The attack patterns of the enemies on the first floors are really basic, except for the war shadow I defeated, which was a bit more exhausting, but still okay," I reply. Soon, I see her eyes widen when I mention the war shadow and that I defeated it. I somewhat understand her, because as far as I remember, the war shadow is described as a rookie killer. Fortunately, Jalter's equipment and knowledge helped me a lot.
"I see... I'm glad you're safe. And I'm impressed that you managed to defeat a war shadow alone... especially without injuries, from what I can see. But well, congratulations on your first adventure. Take a shower and visit our goddess to update your status. Normally, she wouldn't do this, but your skills impressed her quite a bit," I hear Riveria say in a neutral tone with a slight smile on her lips.
"Thank you, Miss Riveria. I'll be on my way," I say, bowing slightly and quietly exiting through the door.
I walk to my room, greeting a few people along the way. Upon entering my room, I dissipate my armor and return to my casual clothes. I grab my towel and some hygiene products and head to the bathroom area in the mansion, which is fortunately relatively close to my room.
When I arrive, I go to one of the private stalls, and after dissipating my clothes, I begin to take a shower.
While washing, I start to think about my battles in the dungeon, reviewing my movements to see if I could have done anything differently to make my combat more refined.
After a few minutes, I finish my shower and dry off. I put on some casual clothes, consisting of a simple black dress, a black jacket with fur around the collar, and a pair of combat boots.
I exit the bathroom, and my next goal is to get to Loki's room to update my status. I can even anticipate some dialogues and movements as I think about my progress. Loki is indeed a funny goddess.
Upon arriving at the goddess's room, I repeat my previous actions with Riveria, waiting for permission, and after receiving it, I enter the room.
After a few minutes, I exit the room, and as I predicted, Loki was incredulous about my status increase after just a few hours in the dungeon; I had achieved things that adventurers usually take days or weeks to accomplish.
Fortunately, despite the goddess's outburst, I received some good news. She assigned me to start combat lessons with Finn, the captain of the family, who primarily uses a spear, and also with Aiz because of her sword skills. In a way, I understand her reasoning. She didn't want me to necessarily learn combat itself because mine is already quite refined, but rather to develop it as my stats increase to avoid any discomfort, as my body is evolving more and more.
But well, putting that aside, I think it's time for dinner.
I make my way to the kitchen and see that the dining area is already quite crowded. I greet a few people I talked to earlier and grab my food. A few adventurers who didn't appear in the anime invite me to eat with them, and of course, I accept.
The conversation flows naturally. The three people sitting with me are Nyanta, a cat race swordsman who used two rapiers. This gave me a strong sense of déjà vu, but I couldn't remember from where, especially his "nya" at the end of his sentences. But anyway, moving on, there was Angeline, a loud red-haired amazon who apparently used a large battle axe. And finally, Edward, a human mage who used water magic. All of them were part of a team, all at level 3, which was really impressive.
After we finished eating, we continued chatting for a while, and at their request, I shared how my adventure in the dungeon went, which earned me some compliments.
Seeing that it was getting late, I said my goodbyes and headed back to my room.
Sitting on my bed, I open my status using my necklace to check some information.

Weapons Cemetery: EX +++
Hmm... I already have a total of 1000 points that I can use in the Weapons Cemetery. Let's see what weapons I can use for now. Focusing a bit, I find myself back in the landscape of my magic.
As I start walking through the area, I see various weapons, but for now, I'm fine with my sword and spear. I would like to have a ranged weapon like a bow and something to help me defend myself.
Hmm... the first thing I see is a sword sheath. I don't need to think twice to go to it and take a look. I know exactly what sheath this is.
[ Name: Avalon ]
[ Original Wielder: Artoria Pendragon ]
[ Class: Sheath/Defensive Weapon ]
[ Noble Phantasm: Avalon: The Everdistant Utopia ]
[ Summon Cost: 1,000,000 SP (Spirit Power) ]
[ Usage Cost (Per Minute): 100,000 SP ]
[ Noble Phantasm Cost: 1,000,000 SP ]
Just as I imagined. Quite expensive. Although with its healing power and its Noble Phantasm that can negate any physical and magical damage, the price is fair.
After looking around a bit, I finally find something I can use that is quite useful.
[ Name: Cross Calibur ]
[ Original Wielder: Gareth ]
[ Class: Shield ]
[ Noble Phantasm: For Someone's Glory ]
[ Summon Cost: 1,000 SP (Spirit Power) ]
[ Usage Cost (Per Minute): 50 SP ]
[ Noble Phantasm Cost: 10,000 SP ]
Hmm... the summoning price and the cost to maintain it are quite reasonable with my stats, but still. But the noble phantasm, from what I remember, justifies the value, after all, it provides me with very high defense and regeneration for a few seconds.
But well, in terms of defense, I already found what I was looking for. Now let's see in terms of ranged attack.
After looking for a bit, I come across something that surprises me greatly.
[ Name: Eros' Bow ]
[ Original Wielder: Medusa ]
[ Class: Bow ]
[ Noble Phantasm: Bellerophon ]
[ Summon Cost: 5,000 SP (Spirit Power) ]
[ Usage Cost (Per Minute): 1,000 SP ]
[ Noble Phantasm Cost: 15,000 SP ]
This would be the 'cheapest' bow I had available there. Even so, it's a bit higher than what I have for now, but I still think it's cheap. Given the mental confusion abilities of the arrows and the noble phantasm that allows me to summon a pegasus and unleash a huge number of area arrows.
Hmm… there are also greatswords and axes options. I think for heavy attacks and breaking postures/defenses, they would be really useful. In a way, it's kind of bad, since I think it would be better to train and become almost perfect with the weapons I already have. However, I guess the desire to have cooler and different things always gets the best of us… but well, I'll just take a look.
As I walk around, I see swords like Siegfried's Balmung, the legendary sword that killed Fafnir. Clarent, Mordred Pendragon's sword, which is part of one of the equipment sets I like the most. I think Mordred's armor is one of the coolest. There's also Artoria Alter's Excalibur Morgan and even Gram, which also defeated Fafnir.
After looking around a bit more, I also spot the famous Rule Breaker, which is one of the most broken things in the series, able to nullify even Noble Phantasms.
But well, I think it's late already, so I'm going to sleep.
Exiting the landscape of my magic, I lie down on my bed as I begin to reflect on some things.
Mainly, the shield is a different color from the rest of my equipment; I won't use it! Jokes aside, it will be a good combination to use it with my spear.
Amid so many thoughts, I start to fall asleep... well, tomorrow is another day of tests.
Sorry, guys. Unfortunately this will be the only chapter for today. I'm a little unwell and I'd rather not post another chapter that doesn't have the quality I expect.
Keep supporting me, because even with this little time that I haven't posted new chapters, I'll go back to the routine of one chapter a day if you're supporting me a lot.
Kisses, the author.
