Capítulo 40: Chapter 40: Waiting

Celeste POV

Where am I? I glance around me, but there is nothing but fog. I glance down at my feet; I am barefoot, and the grass underneath me feels cool. The last thing I remember was being locked in a room that Devlin stuffed me in.

But why am I here? No use just standing here; I’ll see if I can find anything ahead.

It does not feel like a dream as I can feel the grass and the air is cool, plus I can see everything.

What is that up ahead? Does it look like someone is sitting on a bench underneath a tree? I squint my eyes to see if I can see who is better. Is that my wolf lying on the ground next to the person?

I run up to the unknown person and my wolf. The closer I get, the more I realize that it is a woman with long black hair and wearing a long white dress.

My wolf lifts her head off the ground as I approach them both, and the woman looks over her shoulders at me.

She is beautiful with stunning green eyes and an olive complexion.
