Capítulo 209: Chapter 209: Where Are You?

Olivia’s POV

Morning came again, raising soreness in all the right places. Some aches were bad, but all mine were lovely that bright and misty morning. Even my arm didn’t hurt anymore, but that was probably the cast as much as the endorphins sent flowing from the previous night’s activities.

Stretching out, my eyes still well closed, I reached for Ellis. I was still mad at him for not wanting to leave. He could be so stubborn at the worst possible times. It was maddening, only made worse by the fact that I loved him so much.

There was nothing. Just space and sheets. I searched for a note, hoping against hope he might have learned his lesson from the last time.

No dice. No nothing. Ellis was gone and didn’t say goodbye. It wasn’t like him unless something bad was happening and he was trying to protect me, in his own, slightly screwy way.
