Thankfully, the Greater had no time to worry about the escaping Noxtis. The dark blade was stubbornly stuck deep inside its body. Alongside a couple of its legs that were damaged in the previous fight, it was proving difficult for the greater to do anything but screech.

Even the couple of times it was able to touch Nightfall, it would only damage itself further and not actually be able to remove the stubborn weapon.

As it was suffering from the debilitating wounds from its struggle to remove Noxtis' weapon, the Greater cried out to any of its swarm to hunt down Noxtis in revenge.

Avoiding the nearby battle between one of the Feral Tarantula who was fighting against a ratkin, Noxtis was finally able to distance himself from the battlefield briefly while avoiding getting trapped by any other battles.

Once Noxtis had finally found a suitable place to rest, he closed his eyes and reached out with his mind towards his weapon spirit.
