The sound of footsteps approaching woke Noxtis up, the clinging grogginess shattered as his alert senses perked up.

Sitting up, Noxtis scanned the small hovel in an instant and heard the telltale soft padding of a certain bushy-tailed beaskin coming closer.

"Hello there Noxtis. As much as I'd like for you two to rest as much as you can, Riqar and I just finished talking and taking stock of our inventory. Riqar told me to get you both since there is much that is needed to talk about."

Nodding, Noxtis got up off the floor. Thankfully the hovel they stayed in was large enough that he didn't have to worry about hitting his head on anything as he stood. Noxtis stretched his body and limbs, taking off his arm sling to see the previous ghastly hole gone and replaced with a brand new coat of skin. With the stretching came numerous sounds of popping noises.
