"So, who made a contract with him?" Alden asked as he stood up. But the wolf cub clearly hadn't had enough playing.

It jumped around Alden's legs, happy to see its friend after a month.

Neo, Chloe, and Owen glanced at each other.

"We have not decided yet," Neo replied.

"I don't want a contract with it." Chloe backed off. "I am least familiar with it."

None protested as her words made sense. 

"I can't, too." Neo used this opportunity to back off. "I think Alden should make a contract with it. He took the most care of it."

"No, no, no," Alden shook his head. "That is not right. I think Owen should be the one to make a contract with it. He was the one who found it in the cave."

"N-No," Owen muttered quietly. "I-I killed its mother. H-How could I make a contract with it?"

"Owen, that is true, but that is how things work around the worl..."
