Cassandora's Polish embassy, which has just been being built for around 3 weeks. Now there is only a building for officers to live in and a hall meeting for people who need attendance.
Josh, who is known to be a merchant, now standing at its' door accompanied by several guards, preparing for his meeting with Lord Jan Wozniak. He looks nervous and his face shows anxiety. This move of using the advantages of knowing about some advanced technology of the Roseryth Empire to gain a connection with the royal family of Poland is a risky move, if he does one thing wrong, his head will be on a pike.
He is not Josh, his real name is Crezk Jacksonville, the heir to the position of the Sultan of the city of Trost, one of the most wealthy cities all over the empire. 3 years ago, his family is betrayed by one of its' subordinates to the opposite political party. His father is murdered while attending a feast while the city is besieged and his family has to run away while being chased by assassins. With the total number of 17 family members at first, it reduced to only 2 people including him and his younger brother when they got out of the Roseryth Empire's territory.
"- You are allowed to get in." A guard gets out and informs him.
Following the guard, he is led into a small hall room. Suddenly, several men seize him while one takes out a knife. He screams, tries to release himself but his strength can not match the soldiers. The man holding the knife cut his jacket and shirt, revealing a tattoo of a red dragon on his chest. Then, he hears a voice:
- It's enough, release him.
The soldiers release him and then get out of the room. Reorder his clothes, he looks at the man who gave the command with hateful eyes. Every member of house Jacksonville has a tattoo of a red dragon on their chest, which can't be washed away and can only be drawn when being a child using a secret method. This is the evidence of being a member, tearing out his clothes just for seeing this. "This man is no ordinary person." Czeck thinks this man must have done researches about him before getting here.
- You're having the honor of presenting yourself to Lord Jan Wozniak, Head of House Wozniak, Duke of Poland, Warden of Slyria, and Ruthia.
Although he knows that the Duke of Poland is young, he did not expect to see suck a green face. If not for the muscles hiding under clothes and the atmosphere of the warrior being exposed, he would have thought that this is just a young noble who knows nothing other than feasting in his life. Czeck speaks:
- I do not think tearing off other people's clothes is the appropriate approach, my lord.
The Duke just smiles lightly, but as Czeck observes, his eyes do not smile at all. Jan Wozniak:
- I just want to know who am I speaking to, Czeck Jacksonville. I do not like mystery man. I've done some investigation about you, I know about your situation and I will do my best to support your claim.
Hearing this, Czeck uncontrolly shows a little happiness on his face. But he knows that everything has a price. He asks:
- Then what do you want in return, my lord?
- I'm offered the position of governor of Warsaw. This position has been empty for too long, I expect it to be as wealthy as the capital city of the Roseryth Empire after 10 years. Can you do that?
Czeck goes deep in thought. The task is not easy, but as he knows, there is no political issue in Warsaw like in the Roseryth empire, so he can do everything that he sees fit. He does know if the words of this Duke are worth of not but he can slowly gather his strength while working for Poland. His countrymen might call him a traitor but it's acceptable, he can't press his claim without an army.
He nods to Jan Wozniak, and then the deal starts to be considered in details.

( Change POV)
I look at Czeck walking out of the room. My spy network has worked to its best for several weeks and gathered as much information about him as possible. A genius, who boost the prosperity of his land the utmost and helped his father in the military actions. Choosing him as the governor of Warsaw is a risky move for me, I'll have to pay extra attention to him so that he won't have the chance to rebel. I promise that I will take back his homeland for him, and I will do that. I am not a man who breaks my words but in return, I want Warsaw to prosper. Money and men are needed in military campaigns, and the former can solve the latter if it's sufficient enough.
Another reason is that I want him to research guns according to my memory in my last life. I know the principle of backloading rifles, which is more advance than the flintlock muskets my men are using now. If it is invented successfully, I'll have a card that boosts my army's strength superior to the neighboring country.
A messenger has arrived from Warsaw, informing me about the health state of Abigail and another news that concerns me. Two Lithuanian girls who escaped from Lithuania arrived at Warsaw with the treaty signed by my father and the King of Lithuania 15 years ago, about the engagement between me and Princess Christina of Lithuania, which is considered as the treaty that makes Poland and Lithuania alliance. Unfortunately, when the Duke of Lithuania died, his son claimed the throne and betrayed Poland, kneeled to the Roseryth Empire, which sickens me about his cowardice.
I tell the guards:
- Ask Marshal Kawasaki to prepare the marching. We'll start to march back to Poland tomorrow morning.
I can see the delight on their faces. Everyone must be happy about going home to see their beloved ones. So do I, the day Abigail gives birth is not far. And many things that need my attention are waiting for me in Warsaw. The war payment from the vassal states will be enough for sharing the pain of the families who lost their sons or fathers in this war. I should give them the privilege of paying no taxes and free education in Warsaw.
I need to do some reformation in both military and civilization of Poland as well. I notice some cons that need to be changed if I want Poland to be stronger. I have to build more churches and spread Christianity as I promise to the mysterious God; if not, I do not know what will be the consequences. Manipulating the Bishops and the Pope will be put on the must-do list since in certain cases, religion is a powerful weapon.
