Capítulo 109: Why Was He Protecting Them?

"Damn!" he could not believe that he was distracted enough for her to escape through the window.

He stared at the window from where she had jumped to the ground. She winked at him when their eyes met and then ran in the crowd.

Just when he climbed the window to jump behind her, the door of the room opened and the local knights entered the room.

He looked back. She was already gone?

"We have found the bodies of three more knights in the room. The men must have been trained killers and good in close combat skills." informed the knight when Alex's deep eyes sank deeper and turned colder.

"Investigate the whole inn and do not let anyone go out until i meet all of them." he said in a cold voice, "especially the waiters working here, i want to meet every single one of them whether they were on duty or not. And know where they were during the incident."
