Capítulo 398: Alex Killed Her?

"I must say that it is a lucrative one." he smiled as he twirled her when she smirked. A look of winner was already in her eyes, "but i did not need it."  he added slowly making her smile froze and her eyes narrowing.

"Her majesty did not look too happy today! I think you should reconsider it." she asked again with a grim voice when he chuckled. "Do you think that your brothers kept silent all their life? What if they married an ambitious woman or realized with time that they deserved the position better?" she asked again when Alex did not pay attention to her, she gritted her teeth.

"Did you forget what happened to your father, your majesty?" This time, he finally paid attention to her words, "more than that, I am sure that I have all the qualities of an empress." she was sure that no sane man would say no to this offer. 

But she did not notice the reaction she was desiring for in his eyes.
