Capítulo 18: CHAPTER 17: < Error >

Before this chapter starts, I still don't have my laptop back. Furthermore this glorified microwave dousn't allow me to tipe in English so there are a lot more spelling and grammar mistakes than usual. When I get my own laptop back I will fix them, but this is all i can do for now.

..........................................................................................…..

As Sirin made his way through the corridors with the humans and the cambion by his side, he couldn't help but wonder if this deal had been worth it. Yes he might stay in this world, but the human's helplessnes, especially around the cambion, were just pathetic.

Finally they reached an open door, though it was hard to call the gaping hole in the wall a door. It was completely burned with bits of metal and other unknown materials scattered in front of it.

Now that they had reached their point of destination at last, the human hesitated.

"What is it?" Sirin hissed at him.

The human was just speachless and staring at the outside world.

Sirin siged and dragged the human with him, the cambion naturally followed.

"It is beautiful." The young man exclamied with his eyes fixed on the sky.

"I dont care, we need to get going." Sirin spoke as he glared at the human. They were out in the open right now. It was a lot harder to protect him here, and he couldn't risk that this human would die.

The man nodded and they started to move again.

As they made their way trough the abandoned lands Sirin spotted some ruins. They had a lot in common with those he knew in hell, only these were a little bigger.

"What happened here?" sirin asked the human. He hadn't seen ruins like these in the other human world he had been to and he wondered if the explanation that this human could give him would bare some revalations to where the ruins in hell came from as well.

"Demons." The man spoke. "The red god as placed a seal on hell to prevent it from ever cuasing an extinction event. But we got too curruis and opened the doors ourselves. No one is sure if the red god can't intervene, or if he dousn't want to intervene since it is our fault. Never the less, the result is the same, we are stuck in our own mess."

Sirin chuckled. "I fit is your own fault, then I guess its the later senario. I wouldnt want to clean up some human's trash either, and I'm just a demon, let alone a god."

The human remained silent as they cept walking. Eventually they stopped once it got dark.

Sirin couldn't complain, this place seemed rather safe aftherall. The human, that aperantly called himself Jan, had alreaddy fallen asleep the moment he sat down. The cambion that was called, Mirana was still blankly staring at him.

For some reason, tough probably due to her demonic heritance, sirin could tell that this was not her true name like Sirin was to him. This was most likely becuase this was the name that the humans had given her, and she hadn't fully acnowleged it as part of herself.

Sirin ignored her and started to mess with the system. He had alreaddy given up on finding a way to use magic in this world and was bored out of his mind. Now that he knew what the presence of magic felt like, he could tell that it wasn't here. The little amount of magic that was in the air was most likely cuased by the other demons that were destroing this world.

There was suprisinly little tot he system. At this moment only his status and bloodlines were visible, the rest was just blank space.

Sirin frowned and tried to scroll further.

Suddenly the usual blue box turned red.

< Error >

"What error?" sirin growled at the system.

< Access denied >

"What do you mean, access denied? You were given to me, which means I own you!"

< Only a higher being is allowed to unlock the remaining part of the system >

Sirin sighed. Not only did this world basically have no magic, the system also wasnt cooperating. "Then what are the higher beings?"

< List of known higher beings: Creator fragments, red god, god of time, god of space, the imprisoned old gods. All locations unknown. >

By now the screen had turned to its usually bright blue as it awnsered the questions.

"Then could you at least tell me what I'm missing out on?"

< Missing sections: Levels, skills, the abilety to mix species. >

Sirin leaned back on the old tree he was sitting under. At this point only the abilety to mix species seemed like a loss. He had come this far without levels or skills, he was sure that it wouldn't benifit him that much.

He briefly glanced next to him. Mirana had come closer, she was now basically sitting next to him.

"What?"

The girl flusterd and looked away. "Its just. Are you really a demon? Like a pure bred demon from hell?"

Sirin shrugged. "Probably, I was born in hell so I don't see why I wouldnt be."

"Oh, alright. I was just wondering since you have been nicer to me than any human i have met apart from Jan. And apart from your eyes, you dont look that therefying either."

"Really?" Sirin spoke as he opened his mouth as wide as he could. At this point it basically looked like his face split in half, only to reveal a row of long, sharp teeth.

Sirin smiled as the cambion backed away. "Yea thats what I thought."

Yet still she stayed close, and even moved closer once she recovered from the shock.

"Seriusly what is it that you want?" Sirin asked her when the girl showed no sings of leaving anytime soon.

"I just wan't to talk. Since Jan is asleep, you are the only one to talk to."

"Fine, what is it you want to talk about?"

"How are you able to chapeshift like that? I have never seen anything like that before. Do you think you could teach me?"

Now that he girl was this close sirin puched her away with his tail. "No I cant teach you. I guess you could say that I can do it with the help of an artifact. As long as I collect a certain number of souls I can turn into a specific species."

The girls eyes glimmered with interest. "Then how manny did you need to turn in to a lamia"

Sirin frowned. "What do you mean with lamia?"

Mirana thilted her head. "You know, that snake creature you turned into."

"No," Sirin exclaimed. "That was a Naga."

The girl seemed confused and stared at him for a moment. Then she spoke again. "But even if Naga can be evil, they are semi devine, wouldn,t that conflict with your demonic nature?"
