Capítulo 10: Omega Vase Chapter 10: It Was a One-way Run to

Baylor didn't know why his spiritual body suddenly appeared on the ship. In his sleep, he just suddenly felt the familiar spiritual wave, like a thread holding his heart, pulling it one by one. This thread was always there, a link between him and his spiritual body, and it was with this faint link that he was able to confirm the existence of his spiritual body in this world.

And just now, that faint fluctuation suddenly became strong, his heart skipped a beat, and almost as a subconscious reaction, he instantly realized that his spiritual body was approaching.

The cruiser was almost like a small island, the corridor was very complex, new soldiers were often lost when they were not familiar with the situation, not to mention Baylor, who was also deliberately controlled in a certain area.

But at this moment, he was a familiar general in this maze of corridors. Even if he encountered a split fork, he was not hesitant in choosing the direction he wanted to go. However, Baylor actually did not know where he was, nor did he know where he was going. He was just following the line, moving on. He could feel the distance between him and Super Wolf closing in.

The hallway was dimly lit to simulate the darkness, and Baylor weaved without distraction. Turn left, turn right, go straight, turn right again-

Baylor suddenly felt a faint wind current coming from behind him, and he stopped in his tracks, then instantly dodged to his left, avoiding the hand that tried to grab his shoulder.

The man seemed to be a bit taken aback and paused for a breath, but immediately reacted, then this time he moved faster and more forcefully.

Baylor caught the trajectory of his opponent's movement, but this time he didn't succeed in dodging it, his physicality limiting his burst in that moment to the point where the movement couldn't keep up with his brain.

Tsk.

Baylor's lips pursed into a straight line in displeasure before his eyes lifted to look at the person who had grabbed him – an alpha wearing a Sky Wolf Legion training suit.

The man looked at Baylor and was stunned, then frowned and said, "… It's you."

Oh? He was recognized? Baylor searched his memory and had no recollection of the bookish looking alpha, he moved his shoulder and brushed off the man's hand, "Who are you?"

Nord froze for a moment, remembering that he had gone with Jon to meet the other man that day, but had left first before he arrived, so it was no wonder Baylor had no recollection of him.

So he introduced himself, "My name is Nord, I'm colonel of the Ya'an Empire," but then he realized he seemed a little too soft on the other man, and he frowned again and questioned, "What are you doing sneaking around here?"

Baylor's heart was now preoccupied with the spiritual body that was close at hand, and he said impatiently, "I couldn't sleep, so I took a walk."

"Walk?" Nord did not believe a word of it, "TL7 planet mission room is not near here, your walk is a little too far."

"I got lost."

Nord stared hard at Baylor, "This front is the captain's room, you are lost a little too coincidentally." His sunken voice was full of intimidation, "What the hell are you doing here? What is your intention? Did the TL7 planet instruct you to come here?"

If a normal person was questioned like this, he would probably have gone weak, but Baylor didn't feel anything at all, his focus wasn't even on Nord's questioning, but on another place –

"The captain's room?" Could his spiritual body be in the captain's room?

Baylor focused his mental energy on his ears to try to listen, but could not hear anything. One was still some distance away from the captain's room, and the other was that the room should be reinforced with sound insulation, although he could use his spiritual power to strengthen his five senses, but that must also be a faint sound for him to catch.

Nord looked at Baylor that did not seem to fake the accident, he doubted, "You do not know?"

"I even said I was lost." Baylor frowned, his inner anxiety like a fire rising, he narrowed his eyes at this Nord, began to wonder if he could win a point if it was himself at this moment, his ears could not hear the movement in the captain's room now, but he could hear the heart beating inside the man's chest – if he had a weapon, he should be able to destroy this heart with great precision.

The murderous intent rose in those eyes, like the color of a rich lake, glowing even more in that dim light, and it was a fascinating sight.

Nord was clutched by that divine glow, actually ignored the hostile intent, and even forgot what he should say next.

At that very moment, a voice sounded in the depths of the corridor, "What are you all arguing about here?"

Nord looked back at Major General Wellin, who was coming towards them from the front, and he hastily stood up straight and saluted, "Major General Wellin."

The voice also woke up Baylor, who was lost in his own thoughts, and the murderous intent in his eyes was instantly restrained. He turned his head without moving to look at Major General Wellin, who was walking towards them.

Thrusting his hands into his pockets, Baylor was somewhat numb at the moment, he thought with an expressionless face, at four in the morning, there seemed to be a lot of people who didn't sleep.

"You are…" Major General Wellin saw the blocker around Baylor's neck, and he recalled that this was the same person who was in the lobby that day. Remembering that Baylor had actually caught his location at first glance from that distance, he looked at Baylor with a bit of deeper meaning in his eyes.

Nord was the first to answer, "Count Baylor of the TL7 mission said he couldn't sleep and came out for a walk and got lost."

In the past, Major General Wellin would have interrogated him, but today he had no time for that. So he just made a mental note of it, and then he said to Nord, as if he were being driven away, "… Since he is lost, Nord, you should send him back quickly."

"Yes."

Baylor looked cold, but at this moment after being interrupted many times, he was not as impulsive at this moment.

Now was not suitable for him to act out, and there was no need for this, since it was already on the ship, he could always find it, no need to rush.

But he did not understand, he felt the Super Wolf, so why did Super Wolf have no reaction at all?

The other people were the master and spiritual body running in both directions, he was almost in front of the eyes, how come there was still not even a shadow?

Baylor frowned, very unhappy.

"Let's go, Count Baylor," urged Nord, seeing that Baylor did not move.

Baylor crossed over to Major General Wellin, took a deep look at the room at the end of the corridor, took a deep breath, and turned to leave.

Major General Wellin, on the other hand, watched them leave before turning back.

Inside the room, the gray and white husky suddenly twisted his head, a pair of snow-white furry ears erected, like the ice vibrancy of the eyes stared in the direction of the door, with the pair of gray bean eyebrows, showing a very serious expression.

At this moment, Ewan just put on the mask, the bony fingers buckling the black leather mask leather buckle next to his left eye and above the back of his head. The mask blocked most of his face, only to reveal his short black hair and a lunar cloud-like eyebrows.

The door opened and Major General Wellin entered, closing the door behind him and reporting, "It was Count Baylor of the TL7 mission and one of the general's subordinates, Colonel Nord, saying that the Count was lost."

"The TL7 mission?" Ewan's voice sounded more dull because of the mask, "The planet that recently signed a vassal agreement to us?"

"Yes, the Crusader happened to accept the task of escorting the TL7 mission and their promised 'ancestral stones' back to the imperial capital on our way back to resume our duties."

"Who is this count?" Ewan asked.

Major General Wellin then remembered that he hadn't asked the Captain yet, so he turned his attention to Captain Rox next to him.

Rox answered truthfully, "He is the youngest son of the late king of TL7, an omega, and a gift from TL7… A gift to you." He paused and said, "The omega's information as well as identity documents should have been sent to your office as well as the terminal."

Ewan commented coldly, "Bunch of boring idiots."

They all knew that Ewan hated people being shoved to him, there was a time when the Empire's Duke wanted to bring Ewan in, so he paid attention to let his youngest son approach him. With a small butterfly hanging in the military department all day, the result was that Ewan did not give people any face, and later directly threw that omega out of the military department.

The famous line "Only the weak need a mate" was said to those people.

Major General Wellin hurriedly said, "Do you want me to ask Weifield to say no right away?" Weifield was Wellin's brother and Ewan's deputy. Ewan was not in the capital when the paperwork for TL7 was sent over, so it would be up to Wellin to handle these matters.

Ewan said indifferently, "No, if Weifield has not been with me for years for nothing, he will know what to do."

The next morning, Toynbee, who had learned that Baylor had snuck out in the early hours of the morning, rushed to Baylor's room, ready to ask what was going on.

As soon as he entered, he was greeted by a pillow.

The pillow hit him for a moment, he fixed his eyes, found Baylor was lying on the bed, two hands still on his stomach, a posture that made him want to put up a white cloth.

Toynbee: …

This was some kind of netherworld picture.

However, not waiting for Toynbee to ask, Baylor's ice-like but full of grumpiness voice rang out, "Get out, I want to sleep."

You're not sleeping at night, and now you're sleeping in the middle of the day! Toynbee held back his spit, he didn't dare, his heart was weak, after all, he was now at a disadvantage in front of Baylor, he took a deep breath, "Okay, you have a good rest."

Then he withdrew and closed the door behind him.

Baylor closed his eyes, but the more he wanted to sleep, the more he could not sleep, especially since he was not a person who did not sleep a lot. But he had to sleep, so he could let Super Wolf lure him in again if he did.
