The next day, Carlos stepped into Luke's office. After standing there for some time, he just chuckled.

"Awe, what's wrong Luke? Someone step on your puppy?"

"What's wrong? You ruined my fiancée's engagement party with that shit show last night."

"Well, the speech did a world of good. It set you and her in good with the leader."

"Leader? Are you talking about Jaxson?"

Carlos's eyes widened as he pushed up his sleeves. "What? How did you know that?"

"Come on. His voice is pretty recognizable. Hey, got new tattoos?"

The guy looked at his arm admiring the work. The images looked like should being absorbed into his skin, screaming for help. He couldn't help but notice one looked like Beau. The idea of it made his skin crawl and he couldn't make out the newest one as it was covered with a bandage.
