Capítulo 44: XLIV. The Failed Aberration.

"By the way, Lancelot," Vanilla spoke as she inspected the jewelry inside the rusty showcase. "What about you? What are you exactly? It's clear that you aren't natural. And by what you say it sounds like you knew personally Sir William Oaths."

"Natural?" The skeleton spoke. "Nah. I'm not." 

Vanilla put Rowie on the floor. He sniffed around the dust accumulated from years, if not centuries.

Human footprints and the scent of their sweat were the first things the pup detected. It was clear that someone had been already there, but as Vanilla mentioned, why didn't they take such treasures? Something was off. 

He kept sniffing. Perhaps he'd find something useful for his owner and friend. Custos Cattus sat near Vanilla and the skeleton. It was as if he was interested in their conversation.

"Then what's up with you?" Vanilla inquired once again. "Are you some kind of guardian? Do you come from another plane? You seem more like a product of necromancy?"
