The journey went by smoothly. 

Vion thought that maybe it was because of his small stature that he wasn't detected on the trails.

[Anyway, I have reached my destination], Vion thought.

He was elated... and tired. In a few minutes, it would be midnight. 

So, he quickly began asking questions about the closet inn. Vion was lucky as a good samaritan offered to carry him to the mist decent on in the kingdom.

"I hope it is not expensive?", Vion asked the man.

"That is the trick. The owner of the place did a fine job by making her inn presentable for such a low price. And that is what makes people flock there like bees to a honeycomb"

Vion nodded and smiled.

What he needed at that moment were a hot bath and a hot meal. He needed to get his clothes washed too, and he hoped that the inn would offer that service. Vion was ready to pay for it all.

Sir Taff had been generous.

"Here it is", the man said to Vion.
