'I have come to the realization that the person that sits on the Ziviel Throne right now is not... for the lack of a better word, sane. 

I served under the previous king and didn't have a choice but to continue in my office when the current king took over after the tragedy that befell Ziviel, and I do not speak for only myself.

According to what we, the high-ranking officials were told, we thought that we had to endure what fate had dealt us. 

We weren't aware that the rightful heir to the throne was still alive, and when I, in particular, found out, I witnessed the plan to have her killed. 

Then I heard that she escaped and was gathering soldiers from surrounding kingdoms. Somehow, hope grew in my heart.
