Capítulo 72: REDEMPTION

After the plane touched down, Emily opted to spend the night at a hotel before returning home the following day. She hailed a taxi and checked into a nearby hotel, where she freshened up and had a meal.

As night fell, she settled into bed, her mind racing with thoughts of what awaited her at home. She longed to be reunited with her son and couldn't wait to hold him in her arms again. Though she also missed her husband, the pain of his betrayal lingered, making her feelings for him more complex. With a deep sigh, she closed her eyes, allowing sleep to wash over her and temporarily escape the turmoil that had been brewing inside.

The next morning, after completing her routine, Emily checked out of the hotel and headed home, unsure of what to expect after a three-month absence. She tried to prepare herself for any scenario, including the possibility of her husband moving on, but the thought still stung.
