Capítulo 13: First Brood
He had completed his work,After another whole hour of 'programming'.
'now let's start, he thought as he sent a message through telepathy towards the organism, the creature responded about by stretching two of its massive tentacles to wrap around his body put his body on top it's own.
Their size comparison was like a human to a large elephant.
Afterwards he raised his unmodified tentacles up and the creature responded by connecting it's own tentacles to them.
The purpose of this tentacles weren't to be used as limbs but as wire or cords for the puppet master to connect to the organisms brain to be able to directly control it instead of simply sending commands via telepathy.
As soon as he connected his tentacles to the organism's, he quickly gained complete physical control of the creature. The feeling wasn't that different from that of the worm and leech brains in his own tentacles.
He controlled the largest of the creatures tentacles which was almost twice the size of the others to stretch and submerge into the lake water, this didn't make the lake react as it seems the geckos case was special.
Normally upon throwing creatures bodies or their parts into the lake, it would take minimum of two days to start melting and after it starts it doesn't take more than a day for it to dissolve the corpse and parts.
Now this gigantic tentacle started contracting and relaxing, sucking large amounts of water every time. This water was sent into the creatures body.
'let start with armored spiders with large web sacks,then afterwards armored hornets with larger stingers, followed by winged spiders' he thought.
What he had made was a large egg production boiwomb- something to produce large and stronger version of insect's.
A normal ant queen would only be able to lay five false queens eggs in three days then would have to rest for a long time afterwards, some species of insect could produce egg of four to five large superior version of their kind in five days before resting, those being termite and driver ants.
And to create a better boiwomb he had use the only two driver ant queens he had as main components.
It's normally hard to see a driver ant around the eastern areas yet two queen preparing to start their first brood of driver ant colony where captured.
driver ant are characterized by their nomadic nature alternating with quiet, egg-laying periods. These ferocious ant colonies, when in the nomadic stage, move to a new spot each day.
Another scary thing to note about driver ants is that there are millions of driver ants in a single colony.
Driver ants conquer large prey not because of their size but because of their numbers. driver ants and Dorylus wilverthi queens can lay over 4 million eggs in a month. This is perhaps the highest lifetime fecundity of all eusocial insects.
The two driver ants queens would have created colonies that would be a great pain and eyesore for him.
And for that reason he is grateful that they are now working for him instead of against him.
With the help of this biowomb he would be able to produce large quantities of superior soldiers for his army, helping him get closer to his goal.
And the best part is that he had merged the characteristics of all the insects together in the biowomb and for that reason any and all lifeforms/organism created from the biowomb would be immediately be consider as the same race and species even if one is a spider they would be considered an ant by the other ants. Same logic applies to all other offspring of the boiworm.
Not only that, he had used the queen ant of as command model so the offspring would respond to the biowomb as ants respond to their queen, that includes all other species of insect produced by the biowomb including the insects whom are normally solitary in their natural nature.
Using his brain to transmit the general structure of the to be created lifeform.
The biowomb immediately started mixing the necessary components to create the eggs for the ant with the structure and characteristics it had received.
Two minutes after it started laying eggs, eggs as large as those of false queens and door heads. This biowomb has twenty opening that it uses to lay eggs, and it's able to produce four eggs minute from each of the holes.
Looking at the production ability of the boiwomb, he was satisfied. And now all he had to do was simply wait for the results he thought as he disconnected his connection to the biowomb, and sent a telepathic message to his chariot which were just below the large body of the biowomb.
Then the biowomb used it's large tentacles to carry him and drop him gently inside his chariot.
Although he had disconnected his connection with the biowomb, it was still absorbing lake water and creating new eggs.
He only needed to connect when he want organisms with new structures and traits. The biowomb doesn't need his supervision or manipulation to continue laying eggs.
Then the biowomb released a pheromone similar to the original queens pheromones, this called in workers to take the eggs to a newly built separate nursing area from the eggs of normal ants.
Looking at the biowomb quick adaptation and ability to call the workers, he new his physiological programming was a complete success.
'alright I have other things that do, I've used so many days days to make this boi body as I have little experience but now I'll be able to perform this kind of experiment more professionally' he thought as he ride towards the general area of the actual nest.
Open reaching the ancestral nest which was in a far much higher floor than his base he immediately took a few honeypots and suck everything from their bodies with his tentacles, from the honeys which they store to their life force and finally their moisture.
Looking at the surrounding nest structure and remembering the brutal massacre they had suffered while he was still a simple drone, he immediately remembered the ant eater and started formulating his next course of action.
During the one month period it would take for the first brood of the biowomb to hatch.
he had gathered the carpenter ants, leafcutter ants, termites and other insects with nest buildings abilities. Using great efforts he had made most of them I to his soul puppets as their queen was already sacrificed to create the biowomb.
Using this great number of insects, he had built a large fortress like structure above their colony. Then he restrengthen the entire nest and it's tunnels in preparation for the great march the would be happening soon.
During this time he would supervise the construction of the building insects, then he would practice his somatic sense on different large body animals which his army raid catches from time to time,this made his knowledge in insect anatomy,their flaws and benefits increase largely. Afterwards he would practice his energy blast which has strengthened recently, having the power three to four times greater than before though it also means he would use more energy.
And lastly he would treat himself with the lake water.
The using of his body as an heart for the bioworm had harmed his body much more than he thought it. Some of his blood vessels expanded and others exploded, his heart was hurt badly but it had completely recovered from its injuries thanks to the material it was made from.
Yet the biggest headache was the unmixed and chaotic 'blood' of the bioworm which is currently flowing throughout his body.
new and fresh blood of his own blood were slowly being produced by his heart, yet this chaotic blood is fighting against it and slowing down the production of new blood the more.
Yet after sometime his heart which has finally completed it's healing starting working at its maximum capacity and quickly flushed out the chaotic blood from the opening in his body.
And when the eggs finally matured he went to observed them immediately.
