Sitting outside his gate, clenching both her hands tightly together to stop them from trembling as much as they did.
Erina kept on telling herself... "He won't do that... Why would he? He is not like that. He will never treat me like that."
These where the words she kept on repeating like a gatha. She needed to keep saying those words to herself. It was the only way she could keep herself calm.
She couldn't think of any reason why he would no longer want to see her again. Was it something she did? Was it something she said? What exactly would make him want to break up with her?
She could not come up with any reason at all... So she was certain that Barry heard wrongly and the old man was delivering a wrong message.
