Lucas could no longer suppress his yearning, he swiftly commandeered his vehicle, directing it towards the outskirts. 

Once he'd halted by the roadside, he moved to the back seat, fervently embracing Eileen and sealing her lips with a passionate kiss.

The moment he claimed Eileen, the longing Lucas had been unable to quell found respite. 

Nestled within his arms, Eileen Weston peered into his desirous and hazy gaze, probed tentatively, "When do you... plan to marry me?" 

The hand Lucas had on her cheek stilled, the haze in his eyes cleared, coldly retorting, "The Brown family will not consent to our marriage." 

Eileen lifted her hands, ensnaring his neck, her eyes coyly engaging his, "And what about you?" 

His expression faltered, his eyes softening, yet he refused to admit, "I do not wish to marry."

Upon hearing this, Eileen let go of his neck in disappointment, "I am not getting any younger, it is time for me to marry..."
