Watching Grace standing next to her best friend at the wedding alter, Dax remembered a time he would have loved to have that life; married, children, and future. Yet his parents' divorce had been so traumatic that he shut out any hope. He didn't believe in love.

As Grace's sweet amber eyes veered to him, a slow sweet smile brushed across her face. In the moment he realized that everything he ever wanted rested in those kind eyes. She understood him better than anyone ever had. She understood his kink lifestyle and she was as much of a hard worker as he was. They just fit. 

Giving her a wink, he watched as her cheeks heated with a blush. 

Nudging his side, his father sitting next to him, noticed the look of admiration Dax had for her. Whispering he said, "She's a good girl, Dax. Don't let that one slip through your fingers."

"You're right, Dad. She is."
