Mo Roulan was cooking inside the kitchen when a pair of arms suddenly surrounded her waist. 

She stilled for a moment before she relaxed. 

The familiar scent made her nervous and she felt a different kind of anticipation as well. 

"Why are you here? I asked you to rest for some time. It is almost ready."

She whispered, not realizing how her sentences didn't even connect at all. 

He Jian smiled because he realized that she was nervous. He snuggled against her neck and cheek as he said 

"I wanted to spend some time with my precious girlfriend but she just doesn't listen to me and have to cook."

Mo Roulan didn't say anything but she felt happy to hear him. 

He Jian continued in a helpless voice 

"Chu Feng could also have bring me the meal."

The words made Mo Roulan frown this time. She just realized today that after she left with her family to Chi Mansion, He Jian had been eating outside food.
