After a little while, Aelias asked Sera to go to his parents' room. He explained to her that she needed to take off her top to properly dress the wound.

As he assisted her to stand up from the sofa, and with careful steps, they started walking towards the room.

"Is… Is your mother kind?" Sera asked Aelias as she gripped his arm.

He nodded at her.

"I… I have really ugly skin, what if she ran away after seeing-"

"Don't overthink, okay? I promise you, mom is really kind."

When they entered the room, Aelias' mother was already waiting for them.

"Hello!" she said in a happy tone. A stool was already prepared for her to sit, "Come here, quick."

"Sorry if I bothered you, ma'am…" Sera said shyly. She sat on the stool in front of her.

"Aelias, why don't you help your father prepare dinner for us? Tell him you have a guest, so cook an extra serving."
