The man introduced himself as Zhong Yun, claiming that he had come with He Juan, and was tasked to update them. He stuttered anxiously, "T–They… they've been inside for more than forty minutes, but I haven't heard anything from them yet!" 

Li Zhi observed him with skepticism. At first glance, he could immediately tell that this man was a drug addict, which prompted the question— what did XIU bring him here for? Were they acquaintances? Why did he appear so guarded and wary? For Li Zhi could tell for certain that his behavior did not stem from the fear of being apprehended…

A lot of questions swirled in Li Zhi's mind, but he knew that now was not the time to chase for answers. Their current priority was to rescue Mu Yuze and capture those involved with the kidnapping, including their own comrade. 

For now, he decided to give Zhong Yun the benefit of doubt.
