Capítulo 1: A new beginning
Amanda got down from the train,a cool breeze hitting her face as the train departed.
"a new beginning." Amanda thought to herself as she was departing the train station, she noticed how different everything was from the people to the environment everything was so different, people didn't even seem concerned about anything but themselves Amanda managed to hail a cab as she got in she started to remince about her past.
"it's all gone now." She thought to herself.
"I'm going to start afresh."
Later on, Amanda arrived at her destination: Green Field Academy, the best in the country know for their academic excellence, and their outstanding facilities, presidents, governors, senates and more have been produced from this school. It's everyone's dream to get in.This was an opportunity she had to cherish.
At the entrance Amanda took a deep breath and walked in. A pretty middle aged woman was sitting behind the desk.
"good evening ma'am." Amanda greeted.
"good evening, how may I help you." The woman replied.
"I'm here to see the principal."
"okay um.... give me a minute." she said then started to call the principal, she spoke to the principal for a then asked Amanda for her name.
"Amanda Maxwell."
The woman then cut the call.
"ok so you can go now, you'll go straight and take a turn on the left." The woman directed.
Amanda thanked her and headed in the direction she was directed to. Amanda got to the entrance of the office when she heard bickering between two people, she was unable to make out what they were saying but then suddenly there was silence enough to hear a pin drop, a tall young figure emerged out the door. it was a man not just say man, an exquisitely handsome one. He had a chiseled jaw, sharp emerald eyes which could pierce through anyone's skin, black hair, a face as white as snow and pink luscious lips, he had an athletic body build.
Amanda was able to read through his expressionless face and cold aura that he was not the type to chitchat. He brushed past her like she hadn't existed at all but Amanda just shrugged her arms and walked into the office and greeted.
"good evening, kindly take a seat." She greeted and offered her to seat on the empty chair in front of her.
"it's lovely having you, I've heard so much about you it's an honour having you in this school." The principal praised her.
"The honour is all mine, this is such a great school". Amanda replied.
"thank you so much and since your scholarship has been payed for you are free to go to your dorm now."
"your room number is 64, so you'll be staying with Eliza, I hope you two will get along well." she smiled and handed the key to Amanda.
