“I might not look like much, but I’m strong. I have a black belt in karate. I run and at home I lift weights in the gym downstairs in the same building as my condo. I’m wiry and I’m underestimated, but I’ve beat the shit out of guys twice my size for harassing me because I’m gay. I’ve always lived out and proud but I’ve never outed anyone else. Being out is an individual decision that no one else should take away.”

Jamie sat looking at his food. Bull looked up. “Don’t you like the stew?”
“I was waiting for permission to eat, Sir. I don’t know if you want me to eat on the floor, or if you want to feed me, or if I should feed myself,” Jamie said in a matter of fact manner
“I prefer that you feed yourself unless we are at the club. I know Bear feeds Brian but they have a different kind of relationship.” Bull looked down and resumed eating.
“Yes, Sir, they do,” Jamie said as he picked up his fork and began to eat, leaving Bull to chew on his answer.
