Sigurd left the banquet hall, his face burning with shame and anger. He had never felt so humiliated in his life.

First, he was embarrassingly defeated by Seraphine Netherfrost, and then he was forced to hand over a large sum of gold coins even though money is just a number to him.

The humiliation and anger he experienced that night surpassed anything he had ever felt before.
