Capítulo 51: Meadow

Ester could only panic, shaking Eve and breaking her from the effects of the spell. Eve snapped out of it and looked at the bowl on the table. The potion had turned into grey powder, and she smiled in relief. The magic had worked.

She moved away from the table while clutching her wrist. Feeling faint, she decided to return to her room. Leaving Ester to tidy the table, she staggered lightly to the door, her hand moving up to cover her mouth as she coughed.

Upon opening the door, she stepped into her room and leaned on the wall, coughing continuously. Her vampire side had awakened at the scent of her blood, and her jaw ached. Bringing her wrist to her mouth, she licked the blood and closed her eyes, focusing on returning to her human form.

Walking carefully to her bed, she slumped on it and breathed out, feeling drained. She looked at her wrist to see the cut healing slowly. Ester appeared in the room, holding the bowl with the powdered potion in her hand.
