Capítulo 82: The Queen's Demand (1)

Once Iris and her friends returned to the castle, she changed into another set of clothes and allowed her attendant to fix her long hair and tie it into an elaborate hairstyle, pinning it around her head, only allowing a few locks loose to frame her face. A servant then came and led her through the palace. She tried to carefully note all the turns and staircases, until she noticed that she was being led to the north wing, where Lord Kieran forbade her to enter.

'I suppose he's making an exemption this time.' She thought.

Eventually, she was taken through a doorway and led into a large room. Iris was expecting a parlor, but it was more like a private library with bookshelves reaching up to the ceiling. The books seemed old, but she could tell it was being maintained with great care as there was no speck of dust near them.
