Iris spent the days without Lord Kieran not stepping out of the chambers unless it was needed. No one dared to disturb her or enquire about her future plans. She wasn't aware that her reputation in Aisgarth had improved tremendously after she indirectly brought life back to their land.

The darklings and some humans residing in Aisgarth sang praises for her, effectively drowning the voices that wanted to criticize her. Though they were saddened by Lord Kieran's death, Iris bringing life back to their desolate land had turned their lives for the better.

Ricci was always with her, but keeping a safe distance from Iris. She gave her lady enough privacy to talk to their once High Lord, whenever she went over to see him, like she did today. For the meantime, Lord Faragher and Yuri were overseeing the matters of the court.
