Iris' cries coming from the cave could be heard clearly outside. Ryn clung onto Chrysanthe's arm; her eyes shone with tears, worried that something bad had happened to Iris. 

"Chrys, please help Iris. What's going on? Why aren't we doing anything when we all know she's in pain?" She looked desperately at Chrysanthe. 

Chrysanthe's heart ached as she saw the distress in Ryn's eyes. Taking a deep breath, she gently squeezed Ryn's hand and reassured her, "Iris is strong, and we won't leave her alone. We can't do anything to lessen her pain, but we can stay here with her and offer our support. Sometimes, all we can do is be there for someone, and that's exactly what we're going to do for Iris." 

Ryn nodded, finding solace in Chrysanthe's words, and together, they waited anxiously for any news about Iris. She was confused about why Killian had suddenly led Iris here earlier and asked her to go inside the cave with Amelia.
