As per agreement, the Unseelie King had retreated his troop of unseelie, much to Amelia's relief. However, King Zephyr refused to let go of Chrysanthe, which meant that he would be taking her with him back to his court. Amelia refused to release Chrysanthe's hand as they faced the Unseelie King and Killian back in the woods.

"Do you really have to go with him, Chrys?" She asked for the umpteenth time. If Chrysanthe said she didn't want to, Amelia would fight tooth and nail against the Unseelie King in order to protect her.

"I have to, Melia. I'll be alright. Daemon won't hurt me." Chrysanthe tried to assure her, but Amelia refused to believe her. They both knew how ruthless the Unseelie King was. They even witnessed how he tortured the seelie faes that they abducted from Shayla Kingdom.

"It's because he's interested in you. Once he grows tired of you, I fear what he might do to you, Chrys."
