Killian said nothing and looked at the woman blankly. He didn't feel anything with her sudden revelation, although it confirmed his suspicion of what was going on at Azalea Town. No wonder the scent of saltwater and seaweed had been lingering in the air around the town. The town was almost at the center of the continent, yet it had a scent of the ocean that shouldn't belong there.
The woman led Killian to one of the private booths in the bar, ensuring no one would overhear their conversation. She sat and lowered her hood, allowing Killian to give her a good look. Just as she had claimed earlier, she had some disfigurement on her body.
The right side of her forehead was covered in scales, and her arm was covered in burn-like scars. Despite her disfigurements, she still carried herself with confidence and grace.
"I'm sorry for intruding like this. I just really need your help." She said in a depressing tone.
