The next evening, Iris stared at the snowy mountain range where Killian had brought her. If she was still a mortal human, she did not doubt that she would be shivering non-stop from the violent cold wind of the night. They stood at the cliff's edge, but she couldn't see any camp or place where the Black Knights were training.

"Where are we?" She asked. It was the first thing she had said since arriving here. While Nisha City was all sunny and cool at night, this place looked like a barren, freezing land. There was nothing, no one in sight.

"In the heart of the Northern Isles where no darklings dared to enter unless they wanted to be buried alive by the crashing snow."
