A thousand years without feeding? How was it possible that Alice was still able to live till this day? Iris didn't think anyone would be able to last even a year without eating or drinking, especially for blood drinkers like the vampires. How did Alice manage to last this long? Iris had no idea.

Alice looked like a girl in her preteen, and Killian said she was centuries older than him. Did she purposely make herself look like this to conserve her energy?

However, she didn't bother to think about it for too long because she had yet to know what these darklings wanted from her. Killian and Alice didn't look much older than her, but their kind was immortal and could live for centuries. For the past two years she had been living in Asnar, Iris was already used to being treated like a child by the other darklings.

Iris kept her face blank, and willed her racing heart to calm down.

"What do you plan to do with me?" She asked cautiously.
